Automobiles in German City Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers mentioned they were alerted by a man who found a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Around fifty vehicles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Cars, exterior walls and mailboxes were marked, in some cases with swastikas, they announced in a statement.

Officers report they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a individual noticed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued liquid.

The substance had been applied in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered numerous other marked automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations banning the public display of Nazi symbols.

Officials say early analysis suggest the liquid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no lead as to its source; authorities are not yet aware of any injuries in association with the incident," they added.

Local authorities said they were attempting "to resolve the incident" and have appealed to the community for details.

A high-ranking representative stated the attack made him without words and had to be solved rapidly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right attack five years ago," he posted on a platform, mentioning the killing of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on people of immigrant origin in 2020.
