Dallas Cowboys Defensive Lineman Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away at 24 Years Old

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland has died aged 24.
Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round in the 2024 NFL Draft and appeared in 18 games for the team, including four starts.
He scored his first touchdown in Tuesday's defeat to the Arizona Cardinals when he retrieved a blocked punt.
"He was a cherished team member and member of our organisation," the Dallas Cowboys said.
"We send our condolences regarding Marshawn are with his partner Catalina and his loved ones."
Kneeland was picked by the Cowboys with the 56th selection of the 2024 draft after playing college football for Western Michigan University.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart aches" for the passing of a player who "gave his all" into every moment.
"I watched him fight his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a dream to being a esteemed pro for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL stated it is "deeply saddened" by the tragic event.
