The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Performer for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the true confrontation won’t take place until season 3, and a adored, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to transform into an perfect replica of any individual they’ve touched with their right hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that role reimagined as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action series, unlike the initial comic and cartoon version.
This performer will work alongside several other recently announced actors set to bring Baroque Works to reality, including chief Mr. 0, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as the monarch of the fictional land.
Although Bon Clay is a key figure of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a major departure in the placement of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest further changes to the narrative framework.
Their mix of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the role. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
